We are partnering with Brandywine Valley SPCA for a Mega Adoption event!

The Mega Adoption Event will take place June 20–21 from 10AM to 5PM at the Bob Carpenter Center on the campus of the University of Delaware in Newark. Our HAP team will be on-site with dozens of adoptable puppies, kittens, dogs, and cats, available for adoption throughout the two-day event. ALL ANIMALS will have a discounted adoption fee of $35!

With 400+ animals in our care, we will have a wide variety of personalities, ages, and sizes available! Whether you’re looking for a laid-back senior or an energetic baby, there are plenty of adoptables waiting to meet you! All HAP animals are examined by a licensed veterinarian, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives prior to adoption.

In addition to attending the Mega Adoption Event, we will be honoring the $35 adoption promotion at all 3 HAP locations!

ON-SITE HOURS:

Wilmington: 12 PM – 5 PM (Saturday & Sunday)

Stanton/Christiana: 12 PM – 5 PM (Saturday & Sunday)

Rehoboth Beach: 11 AM – 5 PM (Saturday) Closed on Sundays.

The event is supported by Best Friends Animal Society, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the killing of dogs and cats in America’s shelters and making the entire country no-kill!
