‼️URGENT FOSTERS NEEDED‼️We are seeking foster families for all animals at HAP Stanton/Christiana!

HAP Heroes, we desperately need your help! Due to a top secret, ✨groundbreaking✨ project (don’t worry, we’ll be announcing those details VERY soon…) ALL STANTON/CHRISTIANA DOGS & CATS MUST GO INTO FOSTER HOMES BY OCTOBER 8!

We are only seeking longterm fosters, either until they get adopted or until we’re able to make room for them at HAP Wilmington or HAP Rehoboth Beach.

⭐️HAP provides: EVERYTHING! Our team will work alongside you to ensure a wonderful foster experience.
💛YOU provide: love and individual attention, a stress free environment, and a willingness to give our animals the best care possible.
🚗Pick-up: All animals must go into foster by Friday, October 8.

🤩HOW TO FOSTER: Folks are welcome to stop in HAP Stanton/Christiana to meet our animals! To expedite the process, please submit a foster application on our website, by clicking the link in our bio or visiting humaneanimalpartners.org/volunteer/become-a-foster/ (first time fosters). OUR BEAUTIFUL GIRL😍❤️ This #HAPWoofWednesday we are introducing are gorgeous gal, Luna!

Luna is a fun-loving 3 year old Catahoula mix! Luna came to HAP from a high-intake shelter in Alabama when they no longer had space for her. While most dogs may have reservations about being in a shelter, Luna is a happy-go-lucky girl that is just happy to be safe. Luna LOVES meeting new people and making friends. She has a very loving, affectionate demeanor with everyone she meets. She has also done great in doggy playgroup and has several fur friends that she gets to bounce around with. Understandably, she isn’t a huge fan of dogs that scream at her, so she’d prefer another pup that treats her like the lady she is! Luna has a medium/high energy level, she likes to be active but also tires out. She enjoys running in our fenced fields, playing tug, and going for long walks. When the weather is nice, she likes rolling in the grass and entertaining herself with squeaky toys outside. Luna knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and is very food motivated to learn! After some exercise or play, she melts into the mushiest, most loving girl that wants all the cuddles you have to give!
