From Tuesday, February 3 – Sunday, February 8, HAP is joining the 2026 Great American Rescue Bowl Adoption Event, a nationwide celebration of adoption in partnership with North Shore Animal League America and Great American Family. And because this year marks the 60th Super Bowl, we’re bringing some very special adoption incentives to the lineup.

During the Rescue Bowl Adoption Event, adopters can enjoy:
- $60 adoption fees for adult animals
- $60 off adoption fees for puppies and kittens
Plus, score a $50 gift certificate for HAP pet wellness services if you wear a football jersey at the time of adoption!

Every animal available for adoption is already spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, so you can focus on the fun part: falling in love.
This promo is valid at all three HAP Delaware locations (Wilmington, Stanton/Christiana, and Rehoboth Beach) from February 4-9 (please note, HAP Rehoboth is closed on Sundays).
Shelter to the Screen
The adoption event leads right up to the 2026 Great American Rescue Bowl, airing on February 8 from 12–2 PM EST on Great American Family and streaming on Great American Pure Flix. The game features two teams of adoptable puppies and kittens facing off in an adorable showdown: The Cuddle Crew vs. The Snuggle Squad.
