‼️BLUE NEEDS YOUR HELP‼️ Blue is in desper $‼️BLUE NEEDS YOUR HELP‼️ Blue is in desperate need of lifesaving care. Blue was abandoned at the gate of HAP Wilmington in May. Upon examining him, it was clear that Blue had endured a rough past. He was very underweight, dehydrated, and covered in fleas. Due to a weakened immune system, he contracted an upper respiratory infection and required specialty care. We sent Blue to a radiologist to determine if he had lung worms, unknowingly discovering that Blue’s past was even worse than we thought. His x-rays revealed a pelvic fracture, likely from some sort of trauma. An additional x-ray showed that he had ear polyps, which contributed to the severity of his upper respiratory infection. We removed Blue’s ear polyps twice, but they have since grown back. Thankfully, when biopsied, they are benign, but Blue is still suffering. After consulting with specialty veterinarians, it has been determined the next step is to get an MRI scan and provide Blue with the surgery he needs to live a pain-free life. The total cost for Blue’s scans, surgery, and care is estimated to be a minimum of $4,000. Blue is a beautiful, friendly 2-year-old boy. He has melted all of our hearts for his affectionate, snuggly personality. We know he has so much life and love left to give.
